Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, L.A.

I covered MBFW, L.A. My coverage may be seen at my site, "The Literary Fashionista." It was a great week, and I found my skills as a veteran writer aced me through.

Because I had access to the official MB photos. I could have fun and take photo shots and talk to the people who make it all happen. When I cover an event, I never just sit on a sofa. I mix and mingle and get the best stories.

At MBFW, L.A. photographers were dogpiled on top one another. Toward the end, they started to get crazy and were wolf whistling at the models.

This is Michelle. She came everyday dressed in some wonderful outfit. She was our Harujuku fashion editor in L.A. Very cool. She was working hard.

Adrienne Kress is from Toronto. Alex was released in November 2007, by Miramax Books. Adrienne was a really creative author with a background in acting.

Symptoms of Terminal Passion by Chester Aaron

Chester has written 19 books. Writing is his second career, which he started 30 years ago. He is 85 now, and also has another passion --growing many varieties of garlic not available in the market. He has written very popular books on garlic, as well as this one of short stories. He lives near Bodega Bay.

Look Me In The Eye by John Robison

John is Augusten Burroughs' brother. However, he's a great writer in his own right. I interviewed him, reviewed the book prior to launch, and have another interview coming up for the release of his paperback. His book is about his diagnosis of Asperger's.

Note From Dean

This is a promise from Dean Koontz, telling me to write him this year to line up something for November 2009! As you know, Dean hardly ever goes out, so getting an interview with him is difficult. But at least he makes promise in writing! There are many more I've reviewed, but can't show them all here.
