15 years of experience in the New York fashion industry for such luxury design firms as Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Mendel, Marc Jacobs and for apparel powerhouses Phillips-Van Heusen (Gant) and Limited Brands (Victoria's Secret). Have held positions in global fabric research, development and sourcing, design, operations, retail analysis and sales, promotion & marketing.
Currently I am the Managing Partner of Competitive Edge Consulting Associates, Inc. and I run our fashion division. Here we offer fashion industry career advising for people trying to break into the fashion industry or for those trying to advance their fashion careers. I am also currently writing a how-to book on the ins and outs of the fashion industry entitled, The New York Fashion Industry Survival Guide,™ publishing 2010.
